As a certified Spiritual Coach, I'll help you find your own expression of spirituality, helping you live according to your soul's purpose!

Photos are taken from my recent trip to Mexico!

This was a meditative moment captured at the Puerto Vallarta Botanic Gardens' chapel.

My hope is to help people, like YOU, find "holistic well-being.” Here are some definitions from three of my spiritual idols:

  • Deepak Chopra has 7 pillars of wellness:

    1. Emotional Regulation

    2. Sleep

    3. Mindfulness

    4. Movement

    5. Nutrition

    6. Relationships

    7. Laughter

  • Louise Hay says, "Holistic healing includes body, mind, and spirit. You can begin in any one of these areas as long as you eventually include all the areas."

  • Caroline Myss said in an interview, "it came as quite an epiphany for me to realize that the state of being healthy required a great deal more than the recovery of an illness from a person’s body or mind or heart. It really was the repair or the renovation, if you will, of an entire territory of power in a person’s life. It represented the reshaping of power negotiations between a person and all that person’s relationships. And the role that power played in healing and being healthy; that health was, in fact, a different level of power."

As you can see, holistic well-being really sits at the intersection between emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I encourage you to look at my own philosophy when it comes to all three on my website. At the top, there's a tab for each area of well-being.

Despite modern advancements from the trillion dollar health and wellness industry, society is still becoming more anxious, more depressed, and more hooked on antidepressants to cope with increasing stress levels. I believe that the path towards holistic well-being is the best chance our western society has at finding inner peace, happiness, and little-to-no dependency on pharmaceutical drugs.

Personally, I've found a lot of resources online for physical and mental well-being. There are dietitians, physical trainers, workout programs (I've used online programs like Beachbody and in-person outlets like yoga studios, hiking, training for a run, etc.), and many other experts to help with your physical health. What you eat matters. The way in which you move your body matters. Paying attention and setting goals to eat whole foods that are nutrient-dense (and delicious!) and incorporating more movement is vital to our wellness journey.

There are also therapists and brain coaches to help with your mental health. Understanding our traumas, patterns, and triggers by digging up the past is incredibly helpful. This provides insight into who we are, why we are the way we are (our conditioning), and can really help us change the way we live our life.

But, the resources on spiritual well-being are more limited, harder to find, and less obvious in my opinion. Deepak Chopra has explained this perfectly in his book, Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul:

Imagine that you went to see a new doctor and he turned out to be Jesus or Buddha. If you came in with stomach cramps, Jesus might say, “It’s just the flu. The real problem is that you haven’t found the Kingdom of God within.” After running tests for heart function, Buddha might say, “You have some minor blockage in your coronary artery, but what I really want you to do is get over the illusion of the separate self.” In real life nothing close to that happens. Doctors are trained to be technicians. They don’t think about your soul, much less work to heal it.

I prioritized becoming a certified Spiritual Coach, not only a certified Life Coach, because I am incredibly passionate about working on healing our souls. Our westernized culture deprioritizes spirituality and connection to a Higher Power. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to be religious. In fact, one of the first things I do with my clients is help them define spirituality in their own terms. Maybe you prefer using words like “Divine Spirit” or “the Universe” rather than God? Wherever you feel most comfortable is the best way to start. Having a strong spiritual vitality is necessary to find holistic well-being. You cannot skip this part of the puzzle if you truly want to experience the most fulfilling life possible.

Personally, I've found that by focusing on strengthening my spiritual health I have been able to improve my relationships (especially with my parents), let go of many limiting beliefs, hear my intuitive voice more clearly and often, and feel more confidence in completely changing my career to follow my calling. (See below for a tangible example of how I've incorporated a daily ritual to accomplish these things)

Working with a Spiritual Coach can be incredibly helpful in this process. There are many different tools, techniques, and resources we can use to help you feel calmer and more at peace, strengthen your connection to Spirit, and live in accordance with your soul’s purpose. Together, we will update your goals and daily routines by incorporating meditation, affirmations, and manifestations as well as shifting the mindset, letting go of limiting beliefs, increasing self-love, and healing relationships.

It is impossible to find holistic well-being while ignoring your spirituality, and it would please me so much to help you with this next step in your journey.

Example of a daily habit to strengthen your spiritual health:

Just over five months ago, I started writing out daily affirmations every single morning. This came from a book I read by Louise Hay, "You Can Heal Your Life" as she suggested this as part of a routine. Mostly from her book, I write a single affirmation 9-18 times. I have noticed that it has completely shifted the way I notice and interpret people, situations, and emotions throughout the day. There are so many ways we can look at our habits to incorporate more spirituality in our daily lives. Whether it's writing affirmations, doing daily meditations, reading spiritual books, or calling in Spirit, we will work together to build what's best for you in your journey at this current moment!
